The main electronic control board reported an internal failure. The dryer will not operate.
Unplug the appliance from the wall for 60 seconds, then plug back in. Some control board errors are transient and clear after a full power reset. If the error returns, continue diagnostics.
Use a multimeter to verify the outlet provides the correct voltage — 120V for most appliances, 240V for electric dryers and ranges. Low or fluctuating voltage can cause control board faults.

Disconnect power and remove the control board (usually behind the control panel or in the back service panel). Look for burnt components, swollen capacitors, scorch marks, or corroded solder joints.

Trace each connector on the control board and firmly press each one home. Loose connectors are a very common cause of intermittent board errors. Look for chafed or burned wires near connector bodies.
Before replacing the board, confirm all sensors (thermistors, pressure sensors, door switches) connected to it test within spec. A bad sensor can overload an output on the board and appear as a board failure.

Order the exact OEM control board for your model number. Photograph all wiring connections before disconnecting them. Transfer connectors one at a time to avoid wiring errors.
