Samsung error code OE: The water level in the drum exceeded the maximum safe level. The machine stops to prevent flooding and pumps out excess water.
The water level in the drum exceeded the maximum safe level. The machine stops to prevent flooding and pumps out excess water.
Locate the hot and cold water shut-off valves behind the machine. Turn them fully counter-clockwise to ensure they are completely open.
Check both inlet hoses (usually blue = cold, red = hot) for kinks or damage. Straighten any kinks. Look for bulging or cracks that could restrict flow.
Turn off water supply valves. Unscrew the hoses from the back of the machine. Inside each fitting on the machine, you will find a small mesh screen. Remove it with needle-nose pliers and rinse under running water to clear sediment.
Tools needed: Needle-nose pliers, Flashlight
Normal residential pressure is 20–120 PSI. Some washers require at least 20 PSI. Use a gauge on a hose bib to verify. Low pressure may be a whole-home issue.
Tools needed: Water pressure gauge
Disconnect power and water. Remove the water inlet valve (usually at the back). Use a multimeter to test each solenoid for continuity (typically 100–500 Ω). Replace the valve if any solenoid reads open.
Tools needed: Multimeter, Screwdriver set
If the machine fills but still shows a supply error, the water level pressure sensor or its hose may be faulty. Check the small rubber hose from the tub to the sensor for cracks or blockages.
