Step 1: Confirm the Element Is Faulty
Remove the element and test it with a multimeter on continuity mode. No continuity = failed element. If the element shows continuity, also test the thermal fuse and thermostat.
Step 2: Order the Correct Part
The heating element part number varies by model. Use your full model number to ensure compatibility.
Step 3: Access the Heating Element
